Nightmare Prebuy Inspections
HOME | Planes For Sale | History | Nightmare Prebuy Inspections

This is why you want to invest in a pre purchase insepction!

I HAVE POSTED AN ACTUAL INSPECTION SQUAWK LIST GENERATED DURING THE 2006 ANNUAL.

THE OWNER WAS SHOCKED. HIS PREVIOUS MECHANIC, AN IA AND FBO OWNER, HAS WORKED ON

PLANE FOR THE LAST 15 YEARS.

The owner was sure he owned a solid aircraft, his mechanic was sure he signed off a solid aircraft. If this plane was for sale, the broker would been certain that this was a great investment. Amazingly, they are all telling the truth.  As far as they know, this is a solid aircraft.

Unfortuately the plane is telling a different story, and unless I take it apart during the acquisition, and complete a full annual inspection, the buyer will be stuck with all 120 squawks $20,000 worth of repairs when they get the plane to there home base. How would you like to be looking at his list as a new owner.
